Susan Sargent’s – The Comfort of Color

Design was chosen for it’s innovative and bold use of color in an Boston brown stone home in Back Bay.

“I hired Jennifer when I found out that I was pregnant with my first baby and asked her to create a soothing gender neutral nursery that’s comfortable & cozy. We are in the middle of the design process and I couldn’t be happier! Jen has had the ability to “tap into my brain” and somehow know exactly what I want to achieve. She makes it happen. She has stayed on budget and is truly a gem to work with!”

“I had three weeks to move from San Francisco to Boston for a new job and I really wanted my apartment to reflect me, but in a more organized, sophisticated way. Jen met with me the week I arrived and we immediately went shopping and found all the essentials really quickly (bed, couch, table, lamps, etc.), mostly at affordable locations like West Elm and Ikea. She paired these great finds with some fun others online, and from boutiques around Boston. After working with high-end designers Jen has great connections, from knowing what stores would offer us the best deals to the best painters, artists, delivery companies and people who could repair anything! She was also very available by e-mail and phone, and would constantly send me options, and review things I loved, which made the process more efficient and fun. Jen also has such a great eye, and she knew what I wanted and brought it to life on budget while giving me all the bells and whistles I craved! And on top of all her experience and talent, she is such a fun, sweet, hilarious person to hang out with! I definitely consider Jen a close friend whom I love to pieces – I was so lucky to get to work with her and I’m sure you’ll feel the same.”
